Introduction to stainless steel cylinder:

The stainless steel cylinder is a hydraulic actuator that converts hydraulic energy into mechanical energy and does linear reciprocating motion (or swinging motion). It is simple in structure and reliable in operation. When it is used to achieve reciprocating movement, the deceleration device can be eliminated, and there is no transmission gap, and the movement is smooth, so it is widely used in various mechanical hydraulic systems. The output force of the stainless steel cylinder is proportional to the effective area of the piston and the pressure difference between the two sides; The stainless steel cylinder is basically composed of stainless steel cylinder and stainless steel cylinder head, piston and piston rod, sealing device, buffer device and exhaust device. Buffer device and exhaust device depending on the specific application, other devices are essential.

stainless steel cylinder piston rod material selection and technical requirements: (I), because there is no special requirements, so use 45 steel as the piston rod material, the design of the piston rod only withstand pressure stress, so no modulation processing; (ii) The coaxial tolerance of the shaft journal and the outer circle of the mounting piston is not greater than 0.01mm, so as to ensure the coaxial degree of the outer circle of the piston rod and the outer circle of the piston, and avoid the stuck phenomenon of the piston and the stainless steel cylinder, the piston rod and the guide. The vertical tolerance between the end face of the mounting piston and the axis of the piston rod is not more than 0.04mm/100mm to ensure that the piston installation does not produce skew; (iii) The outer circle of the piston rod should pay attention to the roughness; (iv) Because it is operated under low load conditions, surface treatment is omitted.

The stainless steel cylinder body is commonly made of No. 20, 35, 45 seamless steel pipe, and the steel pipe is honed or rolled to achieve the roughness requirement within 0.4μm. The low pressure stainless steel cylinder can use 20 steel pipe, and the high pressure stainless steel cylinder can use 45 steel pipe.

When the oil pressure of the stainless steel cylinder inlet is too low to reach the specified value, the leakage situation of the relevant oil system should be checked and the leakage should be eliminated; Check the piston and piston rod seal ring for damage, aging, loose and other phenomena; Check whether the hydraulic pump and pressure valve are faulty.

What is the material of the lift cylinder?
The cylinder is composed of many parts. The cylinder also contains the seal and the installation port at both ends, the material of these two parts is not easy to determine if there is no physical object. The cylinder body is generally 20 steel, 45 steel, 27SiMn and other materials, and the piston rod is generally 40Cr, 45 steel and other materials.

How to calculate cylinder speed?
If there is a throttle valve, the cylinder speed will be adjustable. When the throttle is fully opened, the speed of the cylinder reaches the maximum: maximum speed = oil pump displacement ÷ cylinder cavity cross-sectional area The displacement of the oil pump is a main indicator, which can be found on the nameplate, and some can also be known by the oil pump model; The cross-sectional area of the cylinder cavity can be easily calculated. Just make sure the units are the same. And because the cross-sectional area of the rod cavity and the rodless cavity of the cylinder is different, the speed of advance and retreat may also be different.
